Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead design delivery on complex, mission-critical projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, engage with clients across North America, and manage program risk and change.

Under the guidance of a Senior PM or Director, you will develop governance, document control, and quality assurance while growing your project leadership capabilities.

Are you ready to project manage design delivery on some of the industry’s most complex, mission critical projects? Then this role is for you.

As Project Manager in our Tampa office in Florida, you will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across critical buildings and infrastructure, working closely with clients and design partners in North America and beyond.

You will coordinate design delivery across internal engineering teams and external design partners, managing workflows and deliverables for allocated projects. This gives you broad exposure to every discipline involved in a live project.

Client relationships and trust

You will act as a trusted point of contact for clients, leading structured project meetings and ensuring communication stays clear, accurate and effective at every stage of delivery.

Commercial and risk ownership

You will proactively manage project risk, change, cost and program while supporting commercial tracking and documentation control. You will help ensure design scope stays aligned with contract requirements.

You will support technical design reviews, verify deliverables and apply governance and quality control consistently across teams, working to the Design Management Way of Working and supporting checklist.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• 2 to 5 years of experience working in multidisciplinary teams delivering complex design projects.
• Familiarity with the design, bid and construction phases of a complex project.
• High level, multidiscipline awareness of MEP systems and CSA; data center or mission critical project experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of project governance.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
