Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Engineer to lead technical design across critical buildings and infrastructure in North America. You will own design tasks, prepare specs, drawings and contract docs, and work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet codes and client needs.

You will guide project delivery from design through execution, identify scope and schedule changes, support planning and cost control, and contribute to the firm’s growth in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years designing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, BMS or fire-protection systems for buildings.
• Working knowledge of US codes, standards and regs.
• Proficient in Revit and discipline-specific design software.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel).
• Professional Engineer status or pursuing it.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

As a Senior Engineer at Black & White Engineering in Tampa, Florida you will provide high-quality technical design support across critical buildings and infrastructure projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure that each project meets client requirements, applicable codes, standards, regulations, and our commitment to getting it right the first time.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience designing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, BMS, or fire-protection systems for a range of building types.
• Working knowledge of US legal and regulatory requirements, building codes, engineering standards, and industry procedures.
• Proficiency in Revit and other discipline-specific engineering design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word and Excel.
• Professional Engineer status (or working towards it).
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
