Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer I for the Consumer Payment Portal team. You will be a core architect of the digital interface enabling distressed borrowers to resolve obligations with dignity and efficiency.

You will collaborate with UX and Payments teams to bridge backend services and the web interface, introducing innovative workflows, and maintaining high uptime in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep proficiency in Golang and React.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Consumer Experience: design, build, and maintain a seamless front-end web experience for payment workflows.
• Architect Modern Workflows: implement alternative payment integrations and flexible scheduling models.
• Own the Initiative Lifecycle: manage end-to-end features from scoping to deployment and post-launch support.
• Drive Technical Strategy: translate requirements into robust technical implementations and contribute to the engineering roadmap.
• Champion Engineering Excellence: write high-quality, maintainable code and lead code reviews.
• Conquer Technical Debt: identify and plan paths to resolve tech debt.
