TrueML is seeking a Senior Engineer I on the Consumer Payment Portal team to architect a high‑concurrency, user‑centric payment ecosystem. You will partner with UX and Payments to deliver flexible scheduling and alternative payment methods, while upholding code quality and long‑term roadmaps.

You are a proven full‑stack builder with 5+ years in software engineering, strong skills in Golang and React, and a passion for scalable, maintainable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep proficiency in Golang and React.
• Strong front-end UX understanding and performance mindset.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Autonomous, self‑starter capable of navigating complex codebases.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape the consumer experience with UX and Payments teams to design and maintain a seamless front-end web experience.
• Architect modern workflows, including alternative payment integrations and flexible scheduling models.
• Own the initiative lifecycle from scoping with Product Management to production delivery and post‑launch stewardship.
• Drive technical strategy by translating business requirements into implementable solutions.
• Champion engineering excellence through high‑quality, maintainable code and rigorous reviews.
• Identify and remediate technical debt to ensure scalable architecture.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing to strengthen the team.
• Maintain system reliability with automated testing and on‑call participation.
