Job summary

You will analyze complex systems, manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional collaboration, and may work extended hours during storms.

Hybrid in-office arrangement requires in-office presence at least three days per week at the Oak Brook Terrace, IL office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or PE licensure as required.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience with strong analytical skills.
• Licensed PE or ability to obtain; advanced degree may reduce experience need.
• Strong problem‑solving and adherence to codes, standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and execution of electric/gas projects and grid modernization.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources for major projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholder communications.
• Conduct field inspections and address high-impact technical challenges.
• May require extended hours during energy delivery emergencies.
