Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the delivery of Customer Experience Platform (CXP) services in a hybrid New York role. You will collaborate with managers, designers, architects, stakeholders, and vendors to drive high-impact projects and modernization efforts.

You will define standards, migrate legacy apps, and author architecture designs while leveraging Agile methods and AI-driven automation to improve outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in microservices and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver OFRs aligned with tactical and long-term business and technology goals.
• Establish technical standards to optimize MTTR and performance.
• Modernize and migrate legacy applications to the Verizon North Star Architecture.
• Author comprehensive design documentation for development initiatives.
• Engineer framework modules for the CXP Platform to address cross-cutting concerns.
• Manage iterative requirements and delivery using Agile methodologies.
