Job summary

Oradeo Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to join a leading international contractor delivering major Data Centre projects in Frankfurt, Germany. You will provide technical support to project teams and oversee engineering activities to ensure delivery of complex construction works.

Candidates must hold a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification and demonstrate experience planning, coordinating and supervising lifting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar engineering role.
• Experience planning, coordinating and supervising complex lifting operations.
• Experience on construction or civil engineering projects in pharma, Data Centre, high-tech, distribution or warehouse sectors.
• Proficiency with GPS equipment, robotic total stations and levelling equipment.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, engineering models and site coordination.
• Excellent IT skills including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and wider project team with technical advice and engineering expertise.
• Maintain daily liaison with project and design teams and subcontractors for coordinated engineering activities.
• Carry out technical verifications of civil designs, models and drawings.
• Implement and monitor QA procedures including pre-pour and post-pour inspections.
• Manage RFIs and assist in resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Assist in maintaining safe working practices across the site.
• Monitor and record materials, plant requirements and site logistics.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, documentation and project reports.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise lifting operations in compliance with safety procedures.

Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading international construction contractor on major Data Centre projects in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced project teams, providing technical support and overseeing engineering activities to ensure the successful delivery of complex construction projects.

Candidates must hold a recognised Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification and demonstrate proven experience in planning, coordinating and supervising complex lifting operations on construction or industrial sites.

Senior Engineer Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager and wider project team by providing technical advice and engineering expertise throughout the project.
