Job summary

Oradeo Recruitment is seeking a Senior EHS Advisor to join a leading international contractor on major Data Centre projects in Frankfurt. You will implement and monitor the EHS Management System, promote a positive safety culture on-site, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards across the project.

You will work with site management, contractors and the wider workforce, coach personnel in best practice, and drive continuous improvement of health and safety practices

Qualifications

• Qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety; NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Health & Safety roles.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project’s EHS Management System.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture on-site with site management and contractors.
• Monitor on-site EHS compliance and conduct regular inspections; prepare weekly reports.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the wider project team and stakeholders.

Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior EHS Advisor to join a leading construction contractor on major projects in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the company’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System, promoting best practice and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards across the project.

Senior EHS Advisor Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the company’s EHS Management System across the project.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture on‑site, working closely with Site Management, contractors and the wider workforce.
• Monitor on‑site EHS compliance and conduct regular inspections, preparing weekly inspection reports and associated documentation.
• Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with the wider project team, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Influence, support and coach site personnel in the implementation of best practice EHS standards.
• Support the continuous improvement of health and safety practices and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety, such as a relevant degree or diploma. A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Health & Safety roles.
• Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience using relevant databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with site management, contractors and the wider workforce.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across all levels of the project.
