Job summary

Oradeo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contract Surveyor to join a leading international contractor on major projects in Frankfurt, Germany. You will support commercial management, valuations, procurement and contractual administration to ensure effective financial delivery.

Qualifications

• Third-level degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (QS preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally with a main contractor.
• Experience on construction, civils, pharma or data centre projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly valuations with accurate commercial reporting.
• Support day-to-day commercial and contractual requirements of the project.
• Assist with tender package preparation and procurement.
• Request/ evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop understanding of financial requirements and commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with project team on cost control and procurement administration.
• Maintain accurate commercial records throughout the project lifecycle.

Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contract Surveyor to join a leading construction contractor working on major projects in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will support the commercial management of construction projects, assisting with valuations, procurement and contractual requirements to ensure the effective financial and commercial delivery of the works. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within an established international construction organisation delivering complex projects across the Data Centre and pharmaceutical sectors.

Contract Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly valuations, ensuring accurate and timely commercial reporting.
• Assist with the day-to-day commercial and contractual requirements of the project.
• Support the preparation and processing of tender packages.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to support procurement activities.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the project’s financial requirements, including commercial and contractual strategies, to ensure the effective delivery of all commercial aspects.
• Work closely with the wider project team to support cost control, procurement and contractual administration.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and maintaining accurate commercial records throughout the project lifecycle.

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

• Relevant third-level degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably working with a main contractor.
• Previous experience on construction or civil engineering projects, ideally within the pharmaceutical and Data Centre sectors.
• Strong understanding of commercial management, valuations, procurement and contractual administration.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
• Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in relevant commercial and reporting software.
