Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a skilled software professional to join a Product Delivery Team responsible for Asset Movement and Cash Management applications. You will collaborate with an Agile team to design, develop, and maintain complex systems, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, React, JCL, DB2, Expediter, and experience with batch and online/web apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Java, React, JCL, DB2, and Expediter (or similar debugging tools).
• Experience developing and supporting batch and online/web applications.
• Experience supporting communications between mainframe and open systems environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities with independence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with an Agile team to deliver technology solutions that drive business value.
• Lead analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of complex applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, specifications, enhancements, and estimates.
• Develop and support both new and existing applications with changing priorities.
• Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure quality and performance.
• Provide production support and participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to identify solutions and outcomes.
• Mentor team members and share technical expertise and processes.
• Work with outside vendors.
