Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Engineer - Application Integration in Cranberry Township, PA with a hybrid work model. You will serve as the technical admin for applications, ensuring reliability, security, performance, and availability across the Westinghouse portfolio.
You will lead incident resolution, upgrades, documentation, and automation efforts while coordinating with clients and teams during business hours and on-call windows.
As a Senior Engineer - Application Integration, you will deliver application installation, configuration and deployment services for multiple applications at Westinghouse. The primary responsibilities for this position you will be the technical administrator for applications in the Westinghouse portfolio, ensuring reliability, security, performance, and availability of supported platforms.
You will report to the Supervisor - Application Integration and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. Hybrid work schedule.
Manage the team's ticket queue, evaluate and resolve incidents, and perform operational tasks. Be the contact for related issues and concerns from clients and employees.
Reviews, tests, recommends, and installs upgrades of applications, while ensuring that the applicant/employee follows appropriate change management and validation procedures.
Create knowledge articles for supported applications.
Create documentation for all procedures.
Support application migrations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud projects, and technology modernization efforts as assigned.
Upgrade, configure, maintain, and monitor software to baseline system performance and identify and remedy potential issues.
Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve administration, monitoring, deployment, and operational support activities.
The primary responsibilities of this position occur during business hours, however there is some evening and weekend work related to projects, planned maintenance, and on-call support.
4+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise applications in a production environment.
Experience with application configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and support for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom-developed applications.
Expert-level troubleshooting for critical application, database, networking and system administration issues
Experience supporting Windows operating systems, web and application server technologies (IIS, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere), and database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server. Familiarity with cloud computing and identity management technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, SAML, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Work and collaborate with clients, peers, and management to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions and ensure partner agreement.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
