Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Engineer - Application Integration in Cranberry Township, PA with a hybrid work model. You will serve as the technical admin for applications, ensuring reliability, security, performance, and availability across the Westinghouse portfolio.

You will lead incident resolution, upgrades, documentation, and automation efforts while coordinating with clients and teams during business hours and on-call windows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise applications in production.
• Experience with configuration, deployment, troubleshooting and support for COTS and custom apps.
• Expert-level troubleshooting for critical application, database, networking and system administration issues.
• Experience supporting Windows OS, web/app servers (IIS, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere) and Oracle/SQL Server databases.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and identity management technologies (Azure, Entra ID, SAML, SSO).
• Collaborate with clients, peers and management to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team's ticket queue, evaluate incidents, and perform operational tasks.
• Review, test, install upgrades of applications following change management procedures.
• Create knowledge articles for supported applications.
• Create documentation for all procedures.
• Support migrations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud projects, and modernization efforts.
• Upgrade, configure, maintain, and monitor software to baseline performance.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve administration and deployment.
• Occasional evening and weekend work for projects, maintenance and on-call support.
