Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co is seeking a Senior Engineer - Application Integration to deliver installation, configuration, and deployment services for multiple applications. You will serve as the technical administrator, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of supported platforms at our Cranberry Township location.

You will report to the Supervisor - Application Integration and operate in a hybrid work environment in Cranberry Township, PA.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise applications in production.
• Experience with configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and support for COTS and custom apps.
• Expert-level troubleshooting for critical application, database, networking and system issues.
• Experience with Windows OS, web/application servers, and DB platforms (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiar with cloud and identity management technologies (Azure, Entra ID, SAML, SSO).

Responsibilities

• Manage ticket queue, resolve incidents, and perform operational tasks for clients and employees.
• Review, test, and install upgrades while following change management and validation procedures.
• Create knowledge articles for supported applications and document procedures.
• Support migrations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud projects, and modernization efforts.
• Upgrade, configure, maintain, and monitor software to baseline performance and fix issues.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling for administration, monitoring, deployment, and support.
• Occasional evening and weekend work for projects, maintenance, and on-call support.

As a Senior Engineer - Application Integration, you will deliver application installation, configuration and deployment services for multiple applications at Westinghouse. The primary responsibilities for this position you will be the technical administrator for applications in the Westinghouse portfolio, ensuring reliability, security, performance, and availability of supported platforms.

You will report to the Supervisor - Application Integration and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. Hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the team's ticket queue, evaluate and resolve incidents, and perform operational tasks. Be the contact for related issues and concerns from clients and employees.

Reviews, tests, recommends, and installs upgrades of applications, while ensuring that the applicant/employee follows appropriate change management and validation procedures.

Create knowledge articles for supported applications.

Create documentation for all procedures.

Support application migrations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud projects, and technology modernization efforts as assigned.

Upgrade, configure, maintain, and monitor software to baseline system performance and identify and remedy potential issues.

Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve administration, monitoring, deployment, and operational support activities.

The primary responsibilities of this position occur during business hours, however there is some evening and weekend work related to projects, planned maintenance, and on-call support.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise applications in a production environment.

Experience with application configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and support for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom-developed applications.

Expert-level troubleshooting for critical application, database, networking and system administration issues

Experience supporting Windows operating systems, web and application server technologies (IIS, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere), and database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server. Familiarity with cloud computing and identity management technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, SAML, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Work and collaborate with clients, peers, and management to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions and ensure partner agreement.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
