RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Engineer for Air Breathing Propulsion to join the Energetics and Propulsion Department. The role involves leading propulsion system integration efforts across development and production programs for missiles and space vehicles, with responsibilities spanning design, testing, and collaboration with subcontractors.

Qualified candidates typically hold a STEM degree with 5+ years of propulsion experience and must be eligible for U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant propulsion experience.
• 3+ years in propulsion tech and solid propulsion system development.
• Experience from conceptual design to final test/assembly of solid propulsion.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Apply advanced technologies to propulsion system integration.
• Work with development and production programs across Raytheon product lines.
• Review manufacturing processes and manage subcontractor design/production.
• Develop technical presentations for management and government agencies.
• Interface with customers to identify user needs.
• Travel to government sites as needed.
