RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Engineer for Air Breathing Propulsion. The role focuses on integrating propulsion technologies across missile and space system platforms, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to advance propulsion concepts from design through testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with ≥5 years of relevant experience.
• Three years of propulsion technology experience and solid propulsion systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Apply and develop advanced propulsion-related technologies for systems integration in missiles and space vehicles.
• Collaborate across development and production programs and work with subcontractors on solid rocket motor propulsion systems.
• Lead propulsion system development projects, review subcontract data, and coordinate with management and customers.
