Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Engineer – Air Breathing Propulsion to join the Energetics and Propulsion Department. You will help integrate propulsion systems for missile and space vehicles, work with program management, and collaborate with subcontractors on solid rocket motor propulsion.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor in STEM, at least 5 years in propulsion, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of propulsion experience.
• Experience with solid propulsion systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate propulsion systems for missile and space vehicles.
• Collaborate with program management across development and production programs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on design and manufacturing of propulsion components.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to management and government agencies.
