Job summary

Deliveroo Senior Engineer for Accounting Infrastructure and Systems will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and data pipelines powering accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows.

You will partner with Finance, Accounting, and Engineering to translate complex financial requirements into auditable, automated systems, mentor junior engineers, and shape architectural best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• Strong distributed-systems and data-engineering expertise.
• Understanding of revenue recognition and reconciliation.
• Ability to translate financial requirements into automated systems.
• Experience collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver backend services, data pipelines, and integrations for accounting workflows.
• Partner with Finance to translate regulatory requirements into auditable systems.
