Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred).
• Engineer-in-Training (F.E.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites or partner offices and work in active construction environments, with reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform all essential Engineer II responsibilities and document meeting notes.
• Review technical RFPs and provide engineering and permitting input to estimating.
• Represent SOLV engineering and permitting teams in pursuit and early-phase meetings.
• Coordinate design deliverables across internal and external stake holders.
• Develop knowledge of SOLV design requirements and permitting conditions.
• Review consultant deliverables; flag deviations or risks for escalation.
• Track engineering and permitting schedules with project management.
• Act as single point of contact for all engineering disciplines with stakeholders.
• Review and approve consultant proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide QA/QC oversight on consultant work and integrated design.
• Share lessons learned to improve future projects.
• Manage submittals and coordinate with Owners, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer.
• Coordinate review comments with consultants and track responses to closure.
• Assist in responding to Owner and IE comments and meetings.
• Represent the engineering and permitting team in Owner/consultant meetings.
