SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 to serve as a technical SME focused on value engineering, QA/QC, and independent technical judgment across utility-scale EPC projects. This role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA.

Specific location details will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing permits and design deliverables, and ensuring compliance with SOLV

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred).
• Engineer-in-Training (FE) certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tool.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Lead value engineering, QA/QC oversight across EPC projects.
• Coordinate with Owner, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer submittals and meetings.
• Review RFP documents and provide input to the estimating team.
• Track and manage engineering and permitting deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
