Qualifications

• 3+ years of Energy Casualty underwriting experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilités

• Review, analyze, accept, and decline Energy Casualty risks for profitability.
• Underwrite and select new business that yields underwriting profit.
• Manage renewal book and implement corrective measures for profitability.
• Communicate with UW Manager and product leaders on accounts and producers.
• Participate in audits and underwriting meetings as required.
• Build and maintain relationships with key producers and monitor profitability.
• Review competitor pricing and market the Markel product effectively.
• Provide training or technical assistance to underwriting staff.
