Job summary

Google's Advanced Energy Technologies team seeks a highly Technical Program Manager to lead technology road mapping and technical diligence in the energy sector. You will guide long-term roadmaps for clean energy investments and partnerships.

You will evaluate TRLs, costs, and scalability, and collaborate with commercial teams to ensure sound partnership structures while monitoring startups and labs to keep Google at the forefront of energy innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience in program management and energy sector due diligence.
• Experience evaluating energy technologies and their grid integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps for next-gen energy technologies.
• Evaluate TRLs, performance claims, scalability, and cost reduction potential.
• Lead technical assessments of opportunities, milestones, and risks.
• Support commercial teams with technically sound partnership structures.
• Monitor global energy tech landscape and engage with startups, labs, and universities.
