Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified energy strategy analyst to join our consulting team in Illinois. You will research energy efficiency, heat electrification, demand response, grid modernization, and sustainability topics for client projects.

You will conduct statistical and economic analyses in Excel and R, prepare workshop materials, reports, and presentations, and interview client stakeholders. Strong communication, teamwork, and a detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics, environmental, science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industry or consulting experience.
• Strong team player with leadership ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience delivering presentations in PowerPoint.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with data analytics.
• Interest in energy programs, grid modernization, and IT/OT.

Responsibilities
