Job summary

Pylontech is seeking an experienced pre-sales Engineer to support medium- to large-scale energy storage projects in the United States. You will perform requirements research, design solutions, model economics, and coordinate resources to move projects toward awards and execution.

The role demands in-depth knowledge of battery systems, PCS, BMS, and EMS, plus a proven track record of delivering 5 MWh+ storage solutions. Travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 3+ years of pre-sales or technical project development experience in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of energy storage systems including battery packs, PCS, BMS, and EMS.
• Experience designing storage projects with 5 MWh capacity or more.
• Excellent customer communication and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support for medium- to large-scale storage projects.
• Lead requirements research, solution design, and economic modeling.
• Coordinate internal/external resources to drive project progress and awards.
• Monitor grid interconnection, safety standards, and incentive policies.
