Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking an experienced engineer to plan, design, and execute energy storage projects. You will provide engineering oversight across cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class storage solution.

The ideal candidate combines technical depth with strong project management, extensive experience in solar/PV and battery storage systems, and familiarity with relevant safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in energy storage engineering or construction.
• Experience with battery storage technologies and safety standards.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Support design phase and engineer major components for large-scale energy storage projects.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in engineering drawings and improve design quality.
• Prepare technical scopes of work for contracts and manage project milestones.
• Collaborate with suppliers to integrate major equipment and ensure communications.
• Travel up to 25% for project-specific duties.
