Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in energy law.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and regulatory filings with minimal supervision.
• Deep knowledge of the Federal Power Act, wholesale power markets, and power transaction structures.
• Collaborative self-starter with strong client service instincts.
• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission to the office jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center power transactions, drafting and negotiating bespoke agreements.
• Provide strategic advice on market design issues in PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT and CAISO.
• Represent clients before FERC and advise on related compliance matters.
• Counsel on emerging energy policy and carbon-free procurement strategies.
• Participate in practice development and mentor associates within the PEER group.
