Job summary

Invenergy, a leading North American energy company, seeks a Manager, Permitting to lead permitting and regulatory tasks for utility-scale wind, solar, storage, natural gas, and transmission projects in a Chicago-based role.

You will collaborate with development, legal, engineering, environmental, and construction teams, manage schedules, ensure compliance, and interface with government agencies to advance project objectives and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in energy industry or relevant field.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Compile, review, and organize permit requirements per local, state, and federal laws.
• Evaluate project risks and drive strategy to obtain permits.
• Draft, review, and organize permit applications and regulatory filings.
