Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Sparks, NV seeks an experienced Energy Marshal Inspector to guide and approve energization, testing, and cleaning of hydronic and piping systems across projects. You will review MOPs, perform final approvals, and ensure safety standards are met to prevent hazards.

Responsibilities include site inspections, documentation audits, and leading the Energy Marshal team while maintaining client expectations and company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of mechanical piping, hydronic systems and safety standards.
• Advanced software proficiency for CRM/PM and project docs.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in startup/commissioning activities and quality control.
• Ability to lead, mentor and oversee field teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Energy Marshal activities and approve testing, filling, flushing and energization.
• Develop site MOPs and review equipment energization plans.
• Conduct regular site walks and document deficiencies to leadership.
• Audit pre-test checklists, torque logs and QC signoffs for 100% completion.
• Stop work authority when quality or safety is compromised.
• Collaborate with regional and site management to ensure client expectations.

High school diploma or equivalent

12+ years mechanical industry experience
