Qualifications

• Electrical safety training and NFPA 70E familiarity.
• Experience with MOPs and switching plans.
• Ability to make Go/No-Go energization decisions with delegated authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead energization readiness reviews for electrical systems and equipment.
• Review energization requests and approve/reject within delegated authority.
• Conduct technical reviews of MOPs and switching plans.
• Verify LOTO and energy-isolation readiness before energization activities.
• Review system status prior to energized or re-energized events.
• Coordinate energization activities with contractors, commissioning teams and project leadership.
• Track deficiencies and ensure corrective actions before authorization to proceed.
• Support LV and MV switching activities and NETA testing.
• Verify turnover requirements are satisfied and maintain records.
