Job summary

Development Solutions Midwest is a trusted energy consulting partner in Michigan, specializing in maximizing utility incentives, energy efficiency, and cost savings for commercial and industrial clients. The Senior Energy Engineer conducts on-site audits, analyzes utility usage, and develops ECMs.

You will manage energy projects, collaborate with utility partners to secure incentives, and present findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing environments or energy efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills, including the ability to present technical information to all levels of an organization.
• Ability to travel to client locations, including day and overnight trips.
• Proficiency in MS Office and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site energy audits and analyze utility usage.
• Develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for clients.
• Manage energy projects and collaborate with utility partners to secure incentives.
• Present technical findings and energy-saving recommendations to industrial clients.
• Interact with client organizations at all levels and coordinate with project stakeholders.
