Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to lead the design and implementation of energy conservation projects for large facilities. You will guide audits, perform savings calculations, and collaborate with engineering, estimating, sales, and project management teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of energy engineering experience.
• Experience in HVAC systems, building automation systems (BAS), renewable energy technologies, and central plant design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of energy conservation and efficiency projects for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
• Conduct energy audits and analyze utility consumption data.
• Develop energy savings calculations and financial analyses.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, estimating, and project management teams throughout project development and execution.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure quality throughout project delivery.
• Mentor Energy Engineers and other project team members.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry regulations.
