Kimmel & Associates seeks a Senior Energy Engineer to lead energy conservation projects for large facilities. The role combines deep technical expertise with project leadership and client engagement to deliver sustainable building solutions.

You will collaborate with engineering, estimating, sales, and project management teams, mentor junior staff, and stay current on emerging energy technologies and regulations while traveling up to 30% and reporting to the Middleburg Heights headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in energy engineering.
• U.S. Citizenship and able to pass an FBI background check; relocation to Cleveland/Columbus area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of energy conservation projects for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
• Perform energy audits and analyze utility data to inform savings.
• Develop energy savings calculations and financial analyses to support proposals.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, estimating, and project management teams across project lifecycles.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and stay current with energy technologies and regulations.
