Job summary

Moss is seeking a Project Engineer, Estimating in Fort Lauderdale, FL to support estimating operations and bid development. You will review plans, draft RFIs, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to enable competitive bid submissions.

The role emphasizes learning estimating processes, safety, and quality standards while collaborating with leads to align bid philosophy and strategy. This is a full-time, on-site position at Moss's Fort Lauderdale location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and/or 1+ years in estimating or project management.
• Understanding of estimating processes, safety and quality standards.
• Knowledge of estimating tools such as Bluebeam Revu, Primavera P6, Smartsheet and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Draft RFIs and meeting notes with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform document reviews to understand plans, specs, and scope.
• Prepare estimates, summaries, and assumptions per templates.
• Collaborate with leads on bid strategies and schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams; track due dates.
