Job summary

BrightLine Group in Seattle seeks a managing consultant with experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, and sustainability. The role involves research, data analytics, client engagement and delivering recommendations for energy efficiency, demand response and renewables.

Travel may be required; salary range is $130,000–$160,000 depending on experience and location. The position is full-time and hybrid, with benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional work experience in relevant field with Bachelors/Masters.
• Experience in energy efficiency consulting, demand side management, renewables, sustainability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, computer and oral communication skills.
• Alignment with team values.

Responsibilities

• Research energy consumption and energy efficiency at multiple levels.
• Analyze data to assess energy and GHG savings.
• Perform technical analysis for policy and program design.
• Provide project management including client relations and budgeting.
• Use energy performance modeling and building simulation tools.
• Lead market characterization studies and cost-effectiveness analyses.
• Provide oversight and training for junior staff.
• Communicate findings through reports and presentations.
• Engage with utilities, implementers, and local/state governments.
