Job summary

National Grid seeks a Senior Analyst (Treasury) to lead negotiation of energy commodity contracts and manage all related documentation, KYC, and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with legal, credit and commercial teams to ensure timely, accurate contract execution.

The position is hybrid, with ~2 days per week in an office, and reports to the Manager of Qualitative Risk and Compliance. A strong background in NAESB/ISDA contracts is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years contract negotiation experience.
• Expert knowledge of energy commodity contracts (NAESB, ISDA, Master Power Agreements).
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Allegro knowledge is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation of financial and physical master agreements.
• Enter and maintain counterparty and contract data in ETRM (Allegro).
• Coordinate with legal, credit and commercial teams on contract reviews and redlining.
• Manage Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and responses.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (Dodd-Frank, Sarbanes-Oxley).
