IREN is seeking a Sustainability Manager or Senior Manager, Energy & Carbon Markets to drive procurement of renewable energy certificates, carbon offsets, and other clean energy instruments. You will manage a multi-site portfolio, forecast budgets, and report to leadership while evaluating new technologies and energy strategies for a growing footprint.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of combined experience across energy markets, environmental commodities, clean energy procurement, or sustainability program management.
• Direct experience procuring or transacting environmental instruments at portfolio scale (REC, offsets, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with internal and external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol and market-based accounting for purchased electricity and Scope 2 emissions.

Responsabilités

• Execute IREN's annual renewable energy procurement and carbon offset purchasing with due diligence and proper documentation.
• Own the environmental instruments portfolio across markets, including budgeting and regular leadership reporting.
• Identify and evaluate clean energy products and PPA opportunities; prepare business cases for leadership review.
• Evaluate new Scope 1 and Scope 2 opportunities and present investable options for leadership.
