Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking an Energy Audit Project Manager to lead field assessments and energy audits across the United States, coordinating with senior staff and overseeing field work.

This role requires travel to Illinois, Colorado, and other states, a background in engineering or construction management, and the ability to manage multiple projects on a fast-paced schedule. The position offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction management and 8 years of related experience, a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience, or 11 years of related experience and no degree.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) a plus.
• Construction/building science experience with at least four years of energy assessments.
• Frequent travel across North America and/or field work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial energy usage assessments, ASHRAE audits, and Property Condition Assessments; direct field activities.
• Write and review condition reports and energy audits.
• Represent Vertex professionally with clients and ensure safety compliance on-site.
