Job summary

PECO in Philadelphia seeks a Career Level Financial/Operations Analyst to perform detailed analysis, complex modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to support energy delivery operations and EM&V programs.

You will track KPIs, develop performance reports for internal and external use, lead projects or process improvements, and provide broad analytical support across the business unit. Expect extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering and 4–7 years of related experience.
• Advanced proficiency in standard software applications and specialized business technologies to retrieve and analyze data.
• Ability to provide in‑depth analysis, forecasting, staff planning and budgeting.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills for project evaluation and business case development.
• Strong written and oral communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of performance analysis, benchmarking and audit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop short‑term and long‑range business planning and conduct complex modeling, forecasting, trending and variance analysis.
• Provide statistical information to optimize utilization of personnel, equipment and materials.
• Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements.
• Track and analyze KPIs and maintain performance information.
• Analyze cost elements to ensure efficient operations and budget adherence.
• Prepare and analyze comprehensive reports for internal and external use.
• Lead projects or process improvements and provide broad analytical support to the business unit.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage external evaluations where needed.
