Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a qualified analyst to support evaluation of EE & Consumer Programs across operating companies. Under supervision, you will coordinate with planning, procurement, legal, and regulatory staff to help implement program goals.

You will assist in developing RFI/RFP/RFQ documents, support M&V activities, collect data, and provide technical/financial evaluations of contractor proposals to guide program strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, applied sciences, agriculture, or IT.
Minimum of two years' experience in energy efficiency OR consumer programs.

Responsibilities

Support evaluation of EE & Consumer Programs submitted by third-party contractors.
Coordinate with planning and business unit functions on issues related to EE & Consumer Programs.
Assist procurement and legal in securing contractor agreements and general operating T&Cs.
Provide technical and financial evaluation of EE & Consumer Programs proposals.
Maintain knowledge of all EE & Consumer Programs activities and interrelationships.
Participate in regular communications with EE & Consumer Programs Manager and operating company units to ensure understanding of deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
