Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking an energy analytics professional to build and maintain financial and operational models for behind-the-meter and onsite energy infrastructure across our data center campuses, including natural gas generation, DERs, energy storage, and backup generation.

You will perform portfolio analytics, forecasting, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate infrastructure utilization, site readiness, cost avoidance, revenue generation, and NOI impact, and you will track energy market

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in energy analytics or related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with model and dataset work.
• Advanced Excel and at least one data analysis tool (Python/SQL/R).
• Understanding of power systems and energy market structures.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operational models for energy infra.
• Perform portfolio analytics, forecasting, and sensitivity analyses.
• Analyze data center load flexibility and demand-side optimization.
• Manage participation in DR, capacity, and tariff programs.
• Develop automated DR strategies and real-time responses.
• Monitor program performance and investigate issues.
• Track energy market conditions and tariffs affecting participation.
