Job summary

Digital Realty in the United States is seeking an energy analytics professional to build and maintain models for energy assets across campus-scale power systems. You will analyze demand response opportunities, DERs, energy storage, and grid interactions to optimize NOI and cost efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and procurement to deliver dashboards, forecasts, and strategic insights that shape energy strategy and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in energy analytics or related field.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Python/SQL/R.
• Understanding of power systems and energy market structures.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operational models for energy assets.
• Perform portfolio analytics, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.
• Forecast data center load flexibility and support demand-side initiatives.
• Develop and manage participation in DR and tariff programs.
• Create automated demand response strategies and event plans.
• Monitor performance, identify root causes and recommend fixes.
• Track energy market conditions, tariffs, and regulations.
• Manage data quality of energy datasets from vendors and utilities.
• Collaborate across teams to support energy supply and financing.
• Deliver dashboards and insights for portfolio decisions.
