Job summary

Barracuda is seeking a Senior Endpoint Security & IR Engineer to lead incident response across client environments. You will manage SentinelOne XDR, perform in-depth investigations, containment, and remediation while collaborating with Cyber Concierge and Automation teams.

The role demands strong technical expertise in multi-tenant MSSP settings, with 24/7 on-call duties and executive-facing communications. Barracuda offers equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; 5+ years in IR/digital forensics or security operations.
• MSSP/MDR/consulting experience strongly preferred; ability to manage multiple client engagements.
• GIAC certification required (GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GNFA or equivalents).
• Experience in multi-tenant environments and complex incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end incident response engagements across diverse client environments, from triage to remediation.
• Perform host-based forensics and remote evidence collection.
• Design and tune detection rules within SentinelOne; configure protection policies.
• Analyze threats including MITRE ATT&CK mappings and perform log threat hunting.
• Prepare executive-ready incident reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
