Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a System Engineer - Infrastructure Services to lead design, implementation, and lifecycle management of endpoint infrastructure across the enterprise. You will manage Windows devices, Intune, Azure, AD, GPOs, and related services to improve user productivity and security.

The role requires strong desktop engineering, automation, and identity/access management, with collaboration across helpdesk and application teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computing.
5–7 years in systems engineering with focus on Workplace Services or device management.
Hands-on with Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint Manager, AD, and Azure AD.
Experience in hybrid Windows endpoints and endpoint security basics.
Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

Design and implement global workplace technologies aligned with IT best practices.
Maintain standards for desktop engineering, device management, and user experience.
Administer Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint Manager, and Configuration Profiles.
Manage lifecycle of end-user devices from imaging to retirement.
Enforce endpoint security policies including antivirus and encryption.
Participate in audits and risk assessments (NIST, ISO 27001, 21 CFR Part 11).
Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and reporting.
Provide Tier 3 support and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Contribute to workplace services documentation and training materials.
