Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is seeking a Senior End User Device Architect for the GMOS contract supporting the Department of State.

This role leads a team to design standardized operating environments across 350+ facilities, using automated imaging and cloud-enabled approaches to support 70,000+ workstations. You will collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to implement DOS security baselines and drive modernization toward cloud-managed endpoints, VDI, and UEM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years in end user computing or related fields.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Proven enterprise-scale end user device architecture experience.
• Leadership of endpoint architecture projects across distributed environments.
• Expert-level Windows OS, imaging techniques, and endpoint management.
• Strong track record coordinating architecture initiatives with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of standardized operating environments for end user devices across 350+ facilities.
• Enable rapid provisioning and deployment for 70,000+ workstations via automated imaging and zero-touch deployment.
• Design local infrastructures with capacity and offline/continuity for remote facilities.
• Ensure DOS and DT security baselines for 40,000+ users with STIGs and encryption.
• Lead evaluation and PoC of new end user devices, hardware, software, and cloud services.
• Support modernization including cloud-managed endpoints, VDI, and UEM.
• Transition resources from decentralized deployments to centralized or cloud-oriented environments.
• Develop architecture diagrams, design specs, SOPs, and configuration guides.
• Coordinate with app teams, infra, and security to meet requirements.
• Serve as technical expert and drive innovation in endpoint management.
