Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to support GI providers. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician, you prep for endoscopy procedures, assist with turnaround activities, and perform high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessories.

You will anticipate physician needs during procedures, help with clean-up of the endoscopy suite, and mentor Endo Tech I staff. The role requires independent judgment and strong clinical skills to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of Endoscopy Technician experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation for endoscopy procedures and turnaround activities.
• Perform high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessories.
• Mentor Endo Tech I staff and support training/orientation.
