Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to support GI providers under RN/MD supervision. You will prep and assist with endoscopy procedures, handle cleaning and high-level disinfection, and help turn around cases in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor Endo Tech I staff, demonstrate independent judgment, and maintain competency in endoscopy equipment, EPIC access, and patient safety. On-call and weekend rotations are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of Endoscopy Technician experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Assist with GI endoscopy prep and turnaround.
• Clean and high-level disinfect endoscopes and accessories.
• Mentor Endo Tech I and support team communications.
