Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, perform root cause analysis, and create reports supporting business needs, including claims and encounter data. You will write SQL queries, develop system enhancements, and work with stakeholders across teams to prioritize updates.

A Bachelor’s degree and healthcare claims experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of programming/analytical experience with SQL
• Experience in a data warehouse environment with large, multi-source datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to diverse audiences
• Healthcare claims/encounters experience

Responsibilities

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data analysis
• Identify, develop, and implement system enhancements to support strategic goals
• Participate in development and prioritization of system updates; execute test scripts and report results
• Proficient in SQL; interpret results, conduct root cause analysis, and develop solutions
• Manage multiple projects and deliver results across teams
• Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders
