Job summary

BTS Software Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks an Emulation Developer II with active TS/SCI w/ POLY to design, develop, and test emulation software across Windows and UNIX platforms. The role involves reverse engineering, debugging hardware/software, and understanding inter-component networking protocols.

The position emphasizes leadership in design and testing using modern CI techniques and requires strong C/C++/Assembly skills, with extensive experience in emulation and reverse

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years' experience programming with C, C++, or assembly.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio OR minimum three (3) years' experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments OR four (3) years' experience developing software for embedded systems.
• Experience developing complex programs using C, C++, or other comparable languages.
• Experience implementing software life cycle management using modern CI frameworks.
• Experience performing software or hardware reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test application software to fulfill emulation needs on Windows, Unix, or other platforms using CI techniques.
• Perform Software and Hardware Reverse Engineering to model mechanisms of emulation targets.
• Debug software and hardware systems and identify divergent behavior between systems.
• Understand networking and inter-component protocols and principles.
• Lead design, development, and testing of emulation software across platforms using CI techniques.
• Lead reverse engineering efforts to understand emulation mechanisms.
• Debug across software and hardware to identify differences with real hardware.
• Understand networking and inter-component protocols and principles.
