Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) seeks a Sr. Clinical Quality Specialist to oversee clinical and regulatory compliance in EMS, leveraging KPI insights, QA/QI oversight, and education to improve patient care and documentation.

You will lead the QA/QI program, coordinate with the Medical Program Director and EMS QI group, conduct investigations, and drive training, collaborating with external partners; some travel is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS certifications
• Current State of Washington Paramedic license
• IHI or HarvardX Improvement Science certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct delivery of pre-hospital extended life support as a Paramedic
• Experience in performing, evaluating, instructing, and coaching all aspects of the delivery of pre-hospital care

Responsibilities

• Leads the QA/QI program
• Evaluates emergency medical services clinical and operational performance and documentation for compliance
• Oversees clinical performance with Medical Program Director and EMS QI group
• Conducts and coordinates clinical investigations and interviews
• Oversees clinical protocols for field providers
• Reports deviations and recommends remedial training
• Coordinates documentation review with pre-billing department
• Coordinates with training department for ongoing improvement
• Coordinates with external agencies to achieve process improvement; travel may be required
• Communicates with AMR’s data analysts
