Job summary

MWResource seeks an experienced EMS Specialist to lead design, development, and operation of Energy Management Systems for the electric grid in Jacksonville, FL. The role ensures real-time monitoring, regulatory compliance, and reliable asset control.

The candidate will guide project execution, mentor a diverse team, and coordinate with IT, Operations, and Security to maintain 24/7 uptime and robust cyber protections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in energy management systems software.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the EMS team and provide oversight.
• Serve as technical lead for EMS operations and system configuration.
• Oversee EMS upgrades, patching, and cybersecurity measures.
• Plan and execute EMS projects including system rollouts.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Security, Compliance and other teams.
