Job summary

Wilshire Law Firm is seeking a Senior Attorney in Employment to help lead our Pacific Northwest expansion, focusing on significant wage-and-hour class and collective actions and single-plaintiff matters in Washington and Oregon.

You will own matters from intake to resolution, shape strategy, mentor junior attorneys, and elevate the firm’s presence in the region, with a compensation range reflecting experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Active Washington and/or Oregon Bar membership required.
• 7+ years of employment litigation experience, including wage-and-hour class or collective actions and single-plaintiff matters.
• Strong command of litigation strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and mediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead employment litigation from intake through resolution, trial, or appeal.
• Develop case, certification, discovery, damages, and settlement strategies.
• Litigate claims under WLAD, Washington wage laws, Oregon wage-and-hour laws, ORS Chapter 659A, and applicable federal laws.
• Represent matters before Washington L&I, WSHRC, Oregon BOLI, the EEOC and other agencies.
• Lead motion practice, depositions, class and collective certification, mediation, and trial prep.
• Mentor attorneys and collaborate with litigation support teams.
• Help build Wilshire’s presence and reputation in the Pacific Northwest.
